Job Description

We are looking for a curious individual with foresight and passion to create day-to-day strategy deliverables and to advance initiatives that deliver growth opportunities for S&SX — both physical and digital.

Day to Day & Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Lead the brainstorming process 
  • Develop shopper profiles, shopping journey assessments, and apply other SSX tools and models to advance internal and external shopper understanding
  • Develop strategic business presentations that reflect insightful shopper strategy
  • Consult to ensure the creative product communicates clearly and links back to the brief’s insights and strategy
  • Gather and analyze data, both qualitative and quantitative, via SSX’s primary and secondary sources
  • Stay on top of business, consumer, retail, cultural, shopper, and digital trends
  • Be a reliable and consistent contributor to agency initiatives, representing the shopper’s voice
  • Partner with our decision science provider and marketing tech lead, aiding data processes and inputs
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients
  • Assist senior members of the department in overall leadership of client

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of secondary research data sources; ability to navigate and extract insights
  • Working understanding of digital, mobile, online, social media vehicles
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Creates aesthetically-pleasing, impactful presentations
  • Enthusiastic facilitation of brainstorming
  • Quickly able to master the agency’s processes and products
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Qualifications

3-5 years’ work experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, media, or digital. CPG and/or retail experience a plus.

Knowledge of mainstream programs and desk research skills is desired.
