In Europe, we are responsible for managing all areas of Disney’s business: Studios, Media Networks, Disney+, Disney Destinations (Disneyland Paris, Disney World, Disney Cruises) and Consumer Products (Retail, Licensing, shopDisney, The Disney Store)

The Publicis Imagine team in London is based at Television Centre, White City in a self-contained area as one team. The team reports into Zenith Media UK. Formed in April 2020, the team is relatively new, with some long-time Publicis employees, and several very new team members

The Publicis Imagine team has been designed to be simple, agile and connected, with access to the latest innovations in media to accelerate Disney’s growth around the world, Data is at the core of Publicis Imagine’s offering. Our data ecosystem, supercharged by Epsilon, will be the end-to-end platform focused on driving growth. We do this by uncovering data-driven insights that inform marketing, creative messaging and media decisions. We will look to connect all aspects of Disney’s business to unlock growth with each of their consumers from any line of business.

Publicis Imagine will be active across the globe, with the hub for EMEA based here at White City in London. We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning. We have brought together talent from all areas of our business, client leadership, strategy, planning, data science, content, insights and execution in agile squads that will deliver for Disney’s business.

Job Description

OPPORTUNITY

Publicis Media is now looking for a new Media Strategy Manager to work on one of our latest and most exciting clients, Disney. You must have experience of working with data and building media strategies ideally across entertainment clients. The role will be working supporting the Media Networks team, led by Dan Matthews, with also some occasional work supporting Disney retail advertising campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead on client media briefs and responses working closely with the marketing team at Disney and across the different touchpoints within Publicis Media
  • Working with our Insights team, Epsilon team to uncover high quality insights from data and research to inform our next campaign
  • Create powerful media strategies and implementation designs to wow clients, and deliver measurable business results, both for Media Networks and for Disney Consumer Products
  • Presenting to clients in both London and across EMEA, and working with our local market Publicis teams, to bring campaigns to life, based on your strategy
  • Work closely with other teams within Disney, to make our work more informed, and better aligned to Disney’s business goals. This could be the research and insights team, programming, product and retail account teams or Disney’s tech and digital hub.
  • Helping prepare PCAs and presenting results back to clients
  • Working with Publicis’ Investment team and media owners to help ensure your ideas are being brought to life effectively
  • Developing relationships with your clients, ensuring you understand their business needs and media objectives
  • Working on broader strategic projects with Disney clients, bringing in resource from Publicis Media as required

THE PERSON

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about media strategy and data-led insights. They will be interested in people, what makes them tick and how to influence their behaviours. 
  • We are looking for someone who is an assured presenter, confident and collected. Excellent communication skills are important, to work effectively with the broader team across Europe and also our clients.
  •  A passion for entertainment and TV is beneficial
  •  You will continually keep up-to-date with market developments and embrace the new. You take great pride in delivering outstanding work across every campaign and supporting a team to do the same
