Overview of Publicis Groupe’s Talent Engagement & Inclusion Practice

Publicis Groupe’s Talent Engagement & Inclusion (TE&I) Practice is dedicated to making Publicis Groupe ever stronger and more competitive in the marketplace by creating, promoting and nurturing an engaging and inclusive work environment for all.

About the Role

**THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO ANY LOCATION WITHIN THE UNITED STATES**

The Director, Talent Engagement & Inclusion role is critical to the TE&I practice as we work to advance Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within Publicis Groupe.

The Director, Talent Engagement & Inclusion is responsible for supporting, co-creating and managing Publicis Groupe’ actions, activities, programs and partnerships related to DE&I, all in an effort to deliver against Publicis Groupe’s US DE&I strategic objectives and goals.

They are responsible for directly supporting the efforts of the Chief Diversity Officer as well as Publicis Groupe’s internal and external efforts to advance DE&I.

The Director, Talent Engagement & Inclusion is a person who has a pulse on the full-spectrum of DE&I related needs and experiences across our talent, leaders and ultimately, our broader business.

They understand the nuances and needs of the talents and stakeholders who make up the advertising, PR, creative, marketing, media, technology and data ecosystem.  

They understand, respect and respond to the dynamic needs of our talents and the fast-moving pace of culture. They accomplish this by operating through a lens of intention with an eye on the “now”, and while driving innovation towards what’s new and next!

They aid in creating new practices, policies and programs that advance our DE&I efforts and also advance our connection to our clients, partners and other stakeholders.

They have expertise in Diversity Equity and Inclusion best practices related to a spectrum of identities, experiences, cultures and perspectives, and can apply that expertise in a matter than continuously advances our organization with a focus on support for our talent and business needs.

The Director, Talent Engagement & Inclusion will be responsible for:

  • Co-creating, supporting and delivering against Publicis Groupe’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion strategic objectives and goals.
  • Recognizing, supporting or responding  to agency brand, office, city, or regional specific DE&I related needs by providing tailored support, strategies, and solutions.
  • Oversight of the activities, budgets, resources, tools, and the framework of support for all Publicis Business Resource Groups (BRGS), while enabling and providing guidance for the creation and support of future BRGs and related communities.
  • Responsible for strategy, execution, and regular communication related to Talent Engagement & Inclusion Learning & Professional Development offerings.
  • Lead ongoing budget planning, management, forecasting, and investment recommendations.
  • Representing Publicis Groupe in identifying, negotiating, and stewarding internal or external/ industry facing partnerships.
  • Oversight of program & partnership health (both internal/external), including but not limited to post-analysis, and engagement/measurement readouts, for ongoing reporting to internal team and bi-annually to broader Publicis Groupe stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Publicis Groupe agency or practice leads to consult and  provide guidance or support towards advancing agency or practice specific (including Recruiting) D&I goals and related efforts.
  • Engaging and supporting the ongoing needs and interest of the Publicis Talent Engagement & Inclusion Council; including but not limited to presenting at or leading portions of US TE&I Council Meetings.
  • Representing Publicis Groupe in industry facing efforts and partner-led programming as dictated by Chief Diversity Officer.

Qualifications

  •  The ideal candidate should
  •  Be a leader & who is actively engaged in the DE&I space and demonstrates thought leadership and  passion for talent engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Be a trusted-advisor who can support, partner, lead and coach our internal stakeholders and leadership on a range of topics related to DE&I
  • Operate through a lens that prioritizes partnership, innovation and growth
  • Have a clear understanding of the advertising/marketing/media agency ecosystem, and have an understanding of the talent who supports these entities
  • Have experience using facts and analytics to understand trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization
  • Have experience managing projects and programs across a matrixed organization with numerous stakeholders.
  • Have experience delivering against defined project objectives & be detail-oriented
  • Have creative and proactive problem solving ability
  • Have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion using project/program management tools
  • Be able to work collaboratively and be productive in a cross-functional & remote/virtual team environment
  • Have an effective written and verbal communication skillset, with ability to influence and connect with audiences in various roles including those at an executive level, across a range of platforms
  • Have a high level of integrity
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives and achieve results through motivating people
  • Be open to giving and receiving feedback in order to affect positive outcomes for our team and talent
