• Consumer Beauty, including cosmetics, hair, skin and body care (e.g. Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Adidas)

• Wella Company (e.g. OPI Nails, Wella Professional, ghd, Clairol)

Job Description

As a Global Media Planner / Strategy Manager, you will be supporting the team in the development of the global media strategies and driving innovation for all the brands. This role will see you contributing to developing cut through communications and activations routed into strong media performance and audience insights as well as market trends.

You will  be working with the Strategy Director to continuously improve the way media is planned across the globe on Coty brands.. In addition, you will help to shape the proactive agenda / thought leadership & innovation strategies for the client.

As part of the role you will work with all the members of the team to evaluate the behaviours & performance of our brands, and those of competitors, using a wide range of tools. You will be required to collate, analyse and develop learnings and insights from a wide range of data sources.

You'll be dealing with a wide range of topics that cover media, brand, digital and creative, however, the focus will be media and performance which is why strong local media planning background will be beneficial for this global role.

Solid media knowledge and understanding of all channels, with emphasis on digital and performance, will be a key success factor in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Develop Global Media Strategy for the client's top brands

• Responsible for local market media tracking to inform various global reports and analysis.

• Provide insights for quarterly business reviews, contributing to Media Score Card process, sourcing/calculating data from local plans (e.g., product initiative budgets, media mixes, target audience, flighting by media type, etc)

• Run media mix scenarios for each plan / brand to assess sufficiency and analysing competitive runs and other data pulls (e.g., audience).

• Working with research and business data to drive the right strategic recommendations

• Contributing to in-agency innovation & strategic initiatives

•  Proactive in finding innovative and new activation opportunities

Qualifications

 

WHAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS YOUR SUCCESS IN THE ROLE:

• Previous local experience is essential. Knowledge of US markets a big plus

• Global experience paired with local is welcomed but not essential 

• Media agency background in media planning, insights, strategy and digital

• Passion for all things media including innovation, digital and data

• Proactive self-starter mindset

• A curious mind. Asking questions and investigating come naturally to you

• Thrive on a mix of analytical and creative workstreams

• Confident with understanding and working with data

• An eye for detail

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and part of a team
