We’re looking for an outstanding VP/ Director—someone who can win the hearts of clients, inspire their teammates, and skillfully juggle multiple pieces of business. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and analytical performance media expert to actively drive outcomes for some of the largest brands on the planet.

What you’ll do:

 

The VP/ Director will provide investment and analytical leadership across performance media channels, including: search, social, display, and video. In this role, you will manage the channel investment teams to ensure consistency of go-to-market approach and create synergies with our media strategy to accomplish campaign KPIs.

 

We are seeking a leader who will bring an innovative and analytical approach to buying, endless curiosity to identify new opportunities to drive results. You will be able to speak fluently to channel buying tactics; often acting as a representative of the full media investment team and analytics team to clients and the marketplace.

 

 

Day to day, your role includes:

§  Speak fluently to multiple media channels; often acting as a representative of the full media activation team.

§  Operate as a connective tissue with internal agency capabilities to ensure that all relevant teams are aware of media investment details and have a central point of contact to represent the broader investment team.

§  Manage, optimize, and expand programs for all performance marketing channels to maximize the profitability of the performance marketing spend.

§  Leverage historic analytics/performance to validate investment strategies, inform tactical decisions and exhibit ongoing willingness to optimization performance for campaign success.

§  Go toe-to-toe with media and finance teams on the client side to determine how best to spend their media dollars to drive outcomes.

§  Manage and maintain relationships with internal team leads and full investment team

§  Be a leader through strength and stability -- functioning as a point of escalation for clients and team members as needed.

§  Proven ability to trouble-shoot and quickly problem solve campaign management issues as they arise, as well as effectively partner with Account Management teams to appropriately communicate issues with clients.

§  Strong understanding of agency/holding company tools and offerings that bring immediate value to the client.

 

 

We’re looking for an exceptional media leader, which typically includes:

§  10+ years of media planning and buying experience, with a strong focus on performance media

§  Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent

§  Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

§  Six or more years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team

§  Deep industry relationships with ad tech firms, brand teams, and publisher partners

§  Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate that to our clients

§  Strong communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when engaging with others

§  The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

§  Experience in Retail, Ecommerce, and / or DTC marketing models preferred

§  Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities

§  Strategic thinking and able to see the bigger picture

§  Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
