Job Description

The Audience Planning Manager (AdTech) will be reporting to the Epsilon People Cloud lead primary with a dotted line to Managing Partner for all ad tech items. The role will work in a cross functional environment to support campaign delivery to all Disney Lines of Businesses (LOBs) in multiple EMEA markets. 

Epsilon People Cloud is a bespoke audience based targeting tool that Publicis uses with certain clients in order to help us understand our different audiences and targeting them with the right adverts. Full training on Epsilon People Cloud will be given. 

Key responsibilities include:

This person will have to have the ability to work across different teams to manage a project. Beginning with the research team, you will work to define the audience variables. You will work with Publicis planning and strategy teams to define the campaign objective. Using Epsilon People Cloud will enable us to present to clients and you will be able to work with the activation teams to get the campaign live, collect data, through to leading on the creation of PCA (Post Campaign Analysis) to see if the campaign has been successful, evaluate impact and how this affects audiences.  You will suppport the lead on the Epsilon People Cloud to develop and execute against the planned roadmap. Together with the lead, you will host on-site online workshops and knowledge sharing sessions when required to provide education to key stakeholders. You will also act as the day-to-day contact for Epsilon People Cloud and Ad Technology related queries. You will manage this process end-to-end. An understanding of audiences and how to drive audience growth is desirable.

You will work with our research, product and data scientist teams to create bespoke audience segments for LOBs, you will have the ability to liaise with the planning team to identify future campaigns and propose Epsilon People Cloud use cases, and be able to present and explain those use cases to the team. You will also partner with AV and digital teams in the Hub and local markets to develop and design measurement studies, as well as provide campaign activation support.

Qualifications

Strong experience in a combination of digital marketing, ad operations, audience strategy, audience segmentation, and media data analytics. Preferable to have a strong understanding of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audience data.

  • Familiarity with AdTech or MarTech. Ideally with practical implementation, hands on experience or marketing technology platforms, not just strategy and theory
  • Can independently problem-solve, the ability to ask questions, breakdown issues, prioritise tasks and develop plans
  • Ability to be open-minded and curious, not afraid to challenge the status quo and explore new ways of doing things
  • Can deliver work to a senior audience and be a self-motivated operator, comfortable with navigating a matrixed global organisation
  • A real team-player, enjoying working in a cross-functional environment and with an ability to manage upwards, both internally and with vendor
  • Able to deliver and have experience of complex technical content to large groups, in a coherent, accessible and inspiring way
  • Has the ability to grow client relationships through new strategies and innovative ideas

This role would suit someone coming from a media planning or activation/investment role where you are used to looking at audience data.
