The role of AD in the comms planning team for Asda @ Spark is a key position and requires not only fantastic strategic & team management skills but the ability to juggle tasks under pressure. Asda is one of the big 4 grocery brands in the UK with a spend of £80m+, this therefore requires a dedicated team of individuals who have the ability to move at pace but deliver accurate and insight based recommendations for our clients. The role of AD is essential to ensure clear strategic recommendations in the planning stage as well as ensuring the comms team that sits under this person are fully aware of what is required and when by our clients. The AD has autonomy from both a strategic and delivery perspective with obvious support from both the MP and BD functions. Asda are a challenging client, always looking to innovate and learn. The comms and investment teams @ Spark are considered as extension to the clients internal structure and hence we adopt the same principles of being agile with a focus on accuracy and being brave but not reckless in pursuit of excellence. 2021 is a big year for the Asda brand and so we are looking for an AD with a passion for planning as well as being able to nurture the next generation of talent whilst being a leading light internally @ Spark to help our reputation within the industry grow in general.
