Overview of brand & work:

We are looking for a smart, go-getter Assistant Account Executive to support the  day-to-day operations of a CPG North America Baby care team, specifically for diaper brands. Passion for working in advertising and interest in the baby care category is a must.

The AAE supports other account team members in managing and coordinating all day-to-day operations of the clients’ marketing campaigns. The AAE is the glue that holds the team together by ensuring all account management fundamentals are flawlessly buttoned up, so that the account can function as seamlessly as possible across all core projects and tasks.

The AAE will report directly to the AE working across both brands.

Critical client objectives:

The overall business objective for this CPG brand is to regain brand relevancy--and growth and leadership--of the $5B+ NA diaper category, challenged by deep competitive pressures and declining birth rates. The agency team’s role is to undersands the business challenges and partner with the brand team to deliver holistic consumer programs behing big creative ideas that have the ability to drive brand love and ultimately brand preference. The client expectation is that the agency will drive creative excellence, best in class execution as well as flawless day-to-day operations and delivery.

This is also an opportunity to work on an exciting relaunch for a challenger brand intended to modernize and make the brand more relevant.

What will the day-to-day work look like (Deliverables)?

·       Responsible for all internal and client facing Meeting Management and leading internal status meetings

·       Own all budget documents and finance related process including but not limited to:

o   Working closely with AE(s) to keep budgets updated

o   Main point of contact for all business managers, talent managers, production managers to ensure all Agency/Brand process is abided by in a timely fashion

o   Ensures all scope changes are entered into AdCosts, signed/approved by the Brand in a timely manner, and are accounted for on latest IBS

o   Owns all RFIPs and Job # Request forms, to flawless accuracy, to ensure other internal departments continue partner closely with BabyCare account team

o   Manages monthly IBS reconciliation process with finance and works closely with AEs to ensure Brand team is kept up to date on latest FY spends

·       Manages the talent and traffic process including trafficking forms, asset hand off, substantiation documents, network clearance, closed captioning and legal reviews.

·       Owns  of the asset management systems in order to be the go-to person for any request from the client or the team

·       Proactively looks to understands the Brand’s business

·       Well-versed with Pampers/Luvs historical & current work:Proactively understands the brand’s historical work, in order to provide perspective & insights based on past campaigns as needed

·       Become competitive activity expert (Global and/or NA)

o   Monitors competitive activity on an ongoing basis

o   Crafts internal and client facing competitive alerts and be able to speak to what competitors are currently messaging to broadly speak to what competitive activity on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

  • Incredibly organized, process-oriented, sweats the details
  • At least one internship in advertising
  • Less than 6 months industry experience, this is an entry level role
  • Eager to learn & take on new responsibilities; looks for opportunities to support team and business wherever possible
  • Proactive and inquisitive demeanor; demonstrate the ability to seeks solutions to problems, but knows when to ask for help/guidance
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks across them
  • Given vast number of requests for global talent usage, either a strong desire to learn about and quickly master or experience in talent management. This includes daily, significant contact and negotiation with internal agency team members across multiple disciplines and brand teams
  • Professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude throughout all tasks big and small
