Job Description

Here is your chance to join the Performics agency working on the enviable client that is one of the biggest financial services portfolio in Australia; working on a broad range of brands you will get the opportunity to get the full view of what goes down across all facets of digital marketing & media.. We like to call it ‘bigger picture learning’. With a future focus and access to copious amounts of 1st party customer data, you’ll be exposed to really interesting and sophisticated ways of working.

As the Performance Manager leading all SEM activity, you will be there to provide solid strategic direction on all aspects of account management, campaign creation and performance management across SEM, and collaborate with the broader team on cross-channel strategy and tactics whilst managing a team of two direct reports.

Working as part of an agile team with our customer, a typical day might involve

  • Enriching a marketing meeting with SEM media & creative performance and insights
  • Working with the team on technical roadmap to advance the strategy in order to drive growth
  • Spending time with your team to align them on prioritisation and business importance of workflow and tasks
  • Regularly meeting with clients to develop a deep understanding of their business, update them on campaign performance, and agree on action plans.
  • Leading, developing, & motivating your direct reports, an Account Executive and Account Coordinator, to drive high performance and professional growth.
  • Managing ongoing campaign optimisation and reporting processes, ensuring that campaigns deliver to target and are achieving the best possible results.
  • Providing strategic insights on what is happening in the client’s industry, with consumers, and competitors.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 4 years’ experience in managing Search Marketing campaigns for enterprise-level clients
  • Proficiency across GMP and Google Adwords and Microsoft Ads, as well as a bid management technology (eg: SA360, Adobe Ad Cloud, Marin, Kenshoo, etc). Proficient with MSFT Office suite and digital platforms in general as expected, including use across reporting and data analysis, presentations etc.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and inclusiveness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Successful track record in managing and growing relationships with partners and customers
  • End to end understanding of general and digital marketing concepts, language, objectives and trends
  • Ability to express complex ideas simply and concisely
