We are searching for an experienced and highly entrepreneurial Account Director who will work on the TikTok account in EMEA. As our AD, you will be the Client’s key partner in ensuring their brand building and performance driven campaigns deliver desired business results. The Client has ambitious expansion goals and would like to work with people who have a proven history of exceeding expectations.
You will provide strategic leadership and guidance of the media team (includes central as well as local Strategy, Digital and Activation teams) in terms of conception and delivering innovation, and will have end to end oversight of more complicated and challenging projects.
Intimate knowledge and experience handling Clients in a fast-paced local environment (e.g. emerging markets where mobile phone usage and video streaming or sharing is high) is a definite plus.
The activities in this role include co-ordination tasks – the structure within the client is flat and working with them requires someone with a “can do” attitude. Someone who believes that “we are all in this together” and will do whatever is required to get the work done.
Given the nature of the Client’s business, we are not only looking for exceptional Account Management skills, we are looking for a person with years of end to end Digital experience ranging from defining digital strategies (across Social, Video, Display, Search and Programmatic) to campaign management (i.e. implementation, optimisation and reporting). Additionally, knowledge of creating and tracking digital JBP’s for, and on behalf of clients, is required.
Lastly, you should be an experienced people manager, good at mentoring and contributing to the overall growth and career path of the team
Degree or similar in IT or technology a plus
Solid experience of progressive levels of responsibility in integrated media planning, buying and management, majority of which is focused on Digital Strategy and Campaign Activation
Facebook BluePrint, Google Digital Guru, DV360 certifications not required but a plus
Experience working in a high mobile penetration & video streaming / sharing, emerging market is a plus
Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of exceeding expectations (proof via internal or external recognition is a plus)
People management experience
Able to establish and manage P&L
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiating skills including but not limited to digital JBPs
Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Strong leadership and management skills
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong analytical skills
Strong command of media research (especially digital like GWI, ComScore etc) and reporting resources is essential
