Job Description

The Acquisition channel provides a full service affiliate offering for the group. We specialise in Traditional Affiliate marketing, Lead Generation, App Download campaigns and consultancy projects in the field. We are an award winning industry leading team.

 

We are responsible for running Acquisition for Starcom, Spark Foundry, Zenith and Performics direct clients. We have global capabilities and service campaigns for many clients, in markets including France, Germany, USA and the UK to name a few. We are fully integrated with all digital channels within the agencies and work in close collaboration with them to give our clients a joined up approach to their campaigns.

 

The Acquisition team is entering into a period of huge growth with new business being won frequently for all areas of acquisition and this role is required to support the team as they pick up these new accounts, migrate them seamlessly to Performics Acquisition Network, develop strategy and ultimately grow the client’s acquisition business.

 

The role of the Acquisition Affiliate Executive is to provide support to the rest of the Acquisition team, whilst also having the opportunity to manage small accounts, with the guidance of other members of the team.You will work across a number of different clients within the affiliate team, across sectors such as travel, finance and retail.

 

Specifically the role encompasses:

  • Providing regular affiliate performance reports
  • Taking ownership of finance and reconciliation processes
  • Assisting publishers with tracking issues, reporting problems
  • Providing assistance to other members of the team with client presentations/ quarterly reviews
  • Begin to take ownership of some of the team’s smaller clients
  • Attend industry events and project a positive image of the team
  • Develop new opportunities by keeping in close contact with industry news, events, publishers and personalities

 

Initially affiliate programme management will form the core of the role. However, there is significant scope to expand into other areas of online media. You will be liaising with search and display teams regularly as part of this role and our integrated online approach to clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge of and/or some experience - no matter how brief - in affiliate marketing is desirable

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who is passionate about online advertising.  The right person will be keen to learn, have a strong work ethic, and fit well with the team - hard working but also happy to join in with team social activities.

 

With ROI being central to all performance clients an individual with a strong analytical and inquisitive mind is required.    

 

Working to deadlines and being effective under pressure is also key. They need strong admin skills and good attention to detail as well as being numerate and accurate. Ideally they should be proficient in the use of Excel and Powerpoint.

 

They need strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with affiliates. This is vital in any affiliate programme.

 

The ability to work strongly both within a team and on their own is essential, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are paramount.
