Job Description

The FMCG client this role will be working on is one of Zenith UK’s largest clients. This role would span two divisions, working across a range of well-known brands and focus specifically on their digital offering to the marketplace.

The ideal candidate is someone who is knowledgeable in all digital media channels, but crucially has confidence and conviction in what they say. The client is ready to invest and grow their digital offering and want a leader and innovator who will take them on their journey through a digital awakening. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to put their digital stamp on a key client at a very pivotal time of their digital growth.

The successful candidate would lead the planning team and reporting into the Business Director in the group, allowing for autonomy and development of management skills and experienced digital specialist to  within the team structure.

Role Responsibilities:    

The Planning Director will own the digital strategy and relations to the client & the activation teams by taking responsibility for delivering overarching plans across digital channels (Programmatic Video and Display, Social, YT etc.), setting the roadmap for an integrated digital approach.

This year focus has been on establishing best practice and use cases for digital first campaigns utilising a team of experts led by the Digital Planning Director from Zenith, but also including digital specialists from Google, Facebook and another specialist agency that the client also works with.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience across data and audience strategy, analytics and reporting
  • Managing client and supplier relationships
  • Experience presenting to senior clients and internal peers
  • Experience planning and optimising across digital performance media channels
  • Good understanding of the full channel mix & confidence to have such conversations
  • Experience working with adServers, tracking technology and advanced measurement and attribution
  • Working knowledge of tech stacks & platforms across the supply chain; exchanges, DSPs, DMPs, verification
  • Strong Numeracy and Excel skills
  • Proficient in Powerpoint
  • Understanding of widely used industry research and benchmarking tools (TGI, Hitwise, Comscore)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Very personable
  • Adept problem-solver
  • Self-motivator, able to deliver from Conception to Analysis
