Job Description

As the Senior Digital Strategist, you’ll be joining the Digital Strategy Team to help lead the world’s top marketers. This position will challenge your ability to think analytically, manage complexity, and apply marketing strategy to address global business challenges – establishing and reinforcing digital fundamentals, winning channel strategies, and creative best practices to improve the quality and performance our consumers’ digital experiences.

The role of the Senior Digital Strategist is to serve as the subject matter expert on all relevant digital channels and ad formats. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for supporting various initiative teams by leading the channel engagement planning, digital creative briefings, and digital asset/experience development process. In addition, the Senior Digital Strategist will be responsible for the education of channel best practices and sharing of inspiring, best-in-class examples. 

 

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply different qualitative and quantitative research techniques to garner and unearth insights that spark the creative process
  • Collaborate with planners to develop holistic, quant-driven consumer journey maps and channel plans
  • Own the digital creative briefing process including leading inspiration workshops and creative check-ins
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of various digital platforms and their ad formats – including but not limited to Amazon, Google, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, etc.
  • Drive performance of digital creative through ongoing optimization of strategic approaches and creative executions
  • Guide the design of digital experiences across the path to purchase from paid and earned media to owned platforms and eRetailer partners
  • Assist team in planning activities such as brainstorming, client onboarding, and internal meetings
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence Analysts to develop and drive strong measurement plans and test & learn opportunities
  • Compile research to support the development of marketing recommendations
  • Collect information around vendors and share knowledge with others

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a marketing strategist, account manager, or consultant working within a digital marketing agency or consulting environment
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related business major
  • Quantitative and qualitative thinker with experience in developing holistic consumer journeys, channel planning, and creative briefs
  • Enjoys marketing and digital marketing theories and principles and wants to share best practices broadly amongst the team
  • Finds satisfaction in problem solving and meeting commitments with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Stellar interpersonal skills; the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the following platforms:
    • Analytics: Google Analytics
    • Ad Managers: Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Amazon
    • Search: Google Keyword Planner, MOZ, SEM Rush
    • Social Listening: Sprinklr, Netbase
    • Planning: ComScore, MRI, PointLogic
