Job Description

What you’ll do: 

Be the lead community expert for a large financial services brand as part of the Social Strategy and Social Coordinator teams.

As a Senior Associate, you’ll own pieces of the day-to-day community management and social monitoring. You’ll be directly responsible for responding to comments from customers, partners and influencers, and noticing trends across the social universe for our team to use to drive future content creation.

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Have a pulse on conversation within the social communities and uplevel key themes to improve future content
  • Own day-to-day community management on select social channels and as part of large partnerships/campaigns
  • Understand the broader social conversation and spot opportunities for the brand to participate
  • Creatively and proactively assist the brand’s and your Digitas team in the development of social strategies, playbooks, etc.
  • Identify, analyze issues, patterns and trends in in the client landscape and with brand agnostic digital trends
  • Help with analyzing campaigns and translating anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media campaigns
  • Identify and engage advocates/influencers

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • A 4-year degree and 2 to 4 years working in digital and/or communications, preferably for large brands in a client-facing role
  • You live and love the social media universe—you’re in-the-know on YouTube, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
  • Experience with social community management and transforming learnings from the community into new content opportunities or strategic changes
  • Social media-specific writing experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using social management software (Social Studio preferred)
  • The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning and community insights
