Job Description

The Lead Business Systems Analyst will take the lead role in creating and managing client deliverables related to our multi-channel marketing engagements, serving as the lead liaison between client and internal Epsilon technical delivery teams. The Lead Business Systems Analyst will work closely with account team leads to ensure accurate and timely delivery of account deliverables, with a focus on defining new and executing existing client campaigns and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary BSA for global and client teams
  • SME in CRM solutions for the clients across various domains
  • Partner with key stakeholders/ technical staff to understand client needs and identify solutions to meet those needs
  • Create Campaign Specs/ BRDs based on the Client discovery/intake
  • Able to assemble, analyze and evaluate data and be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business and project teams
  • Follow SDLC lifecycle to build multi-channel marketing campaigns - creating functional specs (FSDs), build complex flowcharts/ workflows, unit/ end to end testing and deployment of the campaigns
  • Build waterfall and ad-hoc reports based on business requirements
  • Proactively work to improve delivery quality, repeatability and on-time delivery of projects and looking for areas of improvement, implementing, and governing these standards
  • Able to have effective client meetings, negotiate deliverables and drive successful outcomes
  • Lead and support ongoing daily campaign management functionality
  • Lead and support change management and issue management initiatives
  • Help in developing and implementing best practices, standards, methodologies, etc. around Campaign processes & automation
  • Directly lead, manage, and coach the team members, which includes providing leadership and mentoring, providing feedback, completing performance appraisals, and tracking BSA deliverables
  • Providing technical leadership on the client account

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in the database marketing space
  • Experience leading/ managing a team is a plus
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Background in (or strong understanding of) CRM, Marketing concepts and various marketing channels like Direct Mail, Email, Mobile, etc
  • Hands-on working experience in IBM UNICA Campaign tool
  • Experience in the execution of multi-channel marketing programs / operations across multiple accounts
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional/business specifications, creating test plans, and developing quality assurance methodologies
  • Strong SQL skills, must be able to write complex queries and be able to script
  • Proficient understanding of data warehouse and data mart concept
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize and able to quickly change priorities
  • Excellent written and communication skills
