Job Description

This position is responsible for developing integrated (mostly digital) online media plans for our clients in a unique space in healthcare – Clinical Trial Experience. Working in close partnership with our cross functional team, you will create nimble direct response and awareness campaigns to drive successful recruitment of patients into clinical trials. While primarily working in the US marketplace, this role also requires management of international media vendors to execute global media campaigns. This is a client-facing role, so you’ll be confident presenting and defending your plans to a variety of stakeholders, including physicians and clinicians. 

 

Day-to-day, your primary focus will be on the strategic planning and implementation of media campaigns, including optimizing, budget pacing and accounting; developing regular reports and recommendations based on performance. You’ll be comfortable negotiating aggressive pricing, optimal placement and added value opportunities. You will work with the media and client team to respond to client communications and requests and develop strategic recommendations (both written and presented) based on client asks, as well as participating in new business efforts. 

Qualifications

  •  5+ years of digital media planning and buying experience
  • In-depth understanding of interactive marketing and online media; working knowledge of offline media
  • Proven ability to solve clients’ business needs and deliver successful media campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to fast changing situations
  • Working knowledge of third-party software such as Doubleclick campaign manager, Google Analytics, Prisma.
  • A passion for creativity 
  • Ability to present ideas and gain consensus and support
  • Detail-oriented and flexible, able to manage multiple clients and accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical clients a plus
  • Global media experience a plus
