Job Description

A Senior Executive, Technology & Activation Group (TAAG) is a senior execution lead for Display campaign trafficking and tagging, with additional exposure to the tagging and trafficking of Search and Social campaigns. This individual is responsible for understanding the technical details of URL Parameters, tag infrastructure and implementation, HTML5 and JavaScript code, as well as the ability to understand technical aspects of new and emerging technology platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Responsible for the planning, launching, optimizing and consulting of Trafficking Display campaigns (including Search and Social campaigns, as needed).

2.     Universal Tag Manager installation and management (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Tag Manager, Tealium, Sizmek Versatag).

3.     Become a Subject Matter Expert around Display ad trafficking and placement best practices, as well as URL tracking parameters for Search and Social campaigns.

4.     Identify technical and reporting opportunities to address clients’ needs across all channels of digital media, including display, video, social, mobile and programmatic.

5.     Lead strategic conversations with client and media teams around new technologies or process that can improve analysis, visualization or quality of data.

6.     Provide digital media optimization recommendations to support design and measurement of media plan / for new business pitches.

7.     Daily optimization of in-market media within our preferred platforms and DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM).

8.     Analyzing campaign results to highlight key learnings and translating those learnings into concise, actionable recommendations for future campaigns.

9.     Partnering with data analysts on extracting actionable insights from media reporting leading to campaign optimizations and improvements.

10. Assist Client Solutions and Performance Media Team with the development of cross-channel tagging strategies.

11. Assist in the on-boarding and implementation of best practices in regards to tagging and trafficking new technology partnerships.

12. Have deep understanding of third party ad-servers, rich media vendors, data providers and other tracking technologies that can be incorporated into buys.

13. Keeps abreast of evolving media landscape, including research and emerging trends to provide insight to both media teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 - 3 years of focused experience planning and/or executing precision campaigns
  • Expert from performance digital marketing agency, independent trading desks or account manager at Ad Tech companies.
  • Deep understanding of digital lead generation and brand building techniques using Search, Social and Programmatic (e.g. Targeting, content and creatives for programmatic and Social, SEO and SEM)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with key Ad Tech platforms such as AdWords, Google Analytics, Demand Side Platforms (DSP), and DMPs
  • Significant experience communicating technical material to range of audiences, including brands, corporate leadership, technology partners, and agencies
  • Strong project management skills (e.g., building & rigorously tracking work plan)
  • Ability to drive initiative through cultural norms to achieve goal
  • Deep understanding of measurement: KPIs media, Brand Lift, ROI / ROAS measurement
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) to share expertise, coach digital leads on the job, generate excitement and build active community
