About the opportunity

At Langland, our account team creates the conditions in which great work in born. As an Account Director, your primary role is to take responsibility for the oversight and management of a portfolio of assigned accounts and to deliver innovative and effective ideas. An Account Director has primary responsibility for the strategic development and direction of a portfolio of accounts across a key client.

As a senior member of the team you will also have a leadership role within the wider Client Services department and will have responsibility for directing and developing a team. We are looking for someone to fulfill this role within our Clinical Trial Recruitment team – a specialist area that develops strategies and campaigns to help pharmaceutical companies support patients and healthcare professionals as they progress through clinical trials.

Someone who:

  • Has experience in clinical trial patient experience and marketing
  • Is able to lead and manage strategic RFPs
  • Is able to foster strong, lasting relationships at the senior level
  • Is organized, delivery-focused and detail-oriented
  • Is able to adapt to fast-changing situations
  • Has experience in building and managing effective teams
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Has a passion for creativity and is experienced in overseeing creative development
  • Has a good commercial understanding of how to run profitable accounts
  • Has a good knowledge of international healthcare systems
