SVP, Strategy Director

About the Role:

  • Lead the definition, planning and implementation of strategies across a portfolio of indications and patient cohorts for both on and offline experiences
  • Deliver outstanding inspiration, shepherd creative process and collaborate with user experience, creative and technology specialists
  • Play a key role in understanding Client business needs and the strategic competencies required to address them, and activating those competencies across multiple business units
  • Mining provocative insights that form the basis for creative strategies
  • Developing inspiring creative briefs and briefings
  • Participating in new business pitches
  • Partnering with clients on market research activities
  • Mentoring more junior planners
  • Providing thought leadership

Qualifications

  • 15-20 years of business experience: Pharma client-side experience required. RX experience is a plus
  • 10+ years of integrated strategy experience, will have worked on large clients and portfolio’s
  • 5-7 years of managerial experience required. 10+ preferred
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Adept at storytelling
  • Able to simplify and clarify complex concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must have experience leading large teams across multiple brands
  • Proven new business skills
