Epsilon is a leading provider of multi-channel marketing services, technologies and database solutions. We are seeking a Senior DBA Manager with a balance of managerial and technical skills to work out of our Bengaluru, India location and oversee a team of Data Administrators implementing and supporting solutions running on premise or cloud for Database Marketing clients.

• Manage, mentor and coach a team of DBA’s.
• Plan, coordinate and delegate work assignments to team members
• Full life cycle support of client's database(s). Database system utilizes RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active Data guard for DR, partitioning on 11gR2 and 12c.
• Responsible for database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning.
• Will work with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT and Prod databases.
• Responsible for quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime in database environment.
• Required to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and be available to perform periodic after-hours support.
• Work with client teams in the support of development and deployment of database jobs
• Perform a variety of tasks relying on experience and judgment to manage time, plan and accomplish goals on several projects
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and often changing environment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent database programming and query knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and written and oral communication skills.

• 10+ years of database administration and Management
• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
• Hadoop and/or AWS certification is a plus.
