Job Description

  • Strong development, troubleshooting and debugging skills in Unix Shell script– experience of about 8+ years
  • Strong hands on experience on Linux/Unix and shell scripting (L3 Devops support)
  • Strong hands on experience in handling Unix utilities like sed, awk, grep etc. 
  • Experience in automating, scheduling and developing scripts in Unix. 
  • Understanding on ETL concepts
  • Experience with debugging tools and analyzers
  • Understand SLA/RLA etc. and has work under time constraints
  • Should be responsible to running the production environment and dealing with L1, L2 support teams globally
  • Should do service improvements to help reduce production issues
  • Strong written/verbal communication
  • This role requires the individual to handle issues occurring across various layers of the product such as the UI, database, big data components, service layer, etc.  Understand the cause of the issue, debug and dig to the root of the issue and fix it.
  • Meeting expected SLA’s on issues and interaction with L1/L2 support teams and engineering teams will be required.
  • As part of the role, the individual will be expected to think innovatively and come up with dashboards/tools that will make the support process easier and better.
  • Java Scripts UI skills is a plus
