Job Description

As Regional Digital Program Manager for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Operations Team, you will be responsible to manage the design and implementation of Customer Journey Blueprints for the Region Overseas and plan their prioritized local rollouts into 17 markets. You will be prioritizing and planning the market scope with the regional teams and align the local markets needs to it.  In the role you will be the connection between Regional client in Malaysia and Germany, IT in Singapore and 17 markets in Asia, Australia and South America. As well you will be the connect of onshore team in Malaysia (~5 people) and offshore team in India (~7 people) responsible for the execution of the planned market rollouts. Special focus will need to be on dependency management in this multi stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns plans and roadmap planning for SFMC team
  • Track local market rollout progress of regional customer Journeys / Use cases
  • Owns dependency management with 17 markets
  • Overall SFMC roadmap prioritization planning together with local market consultants
  • Overall consultant and markets status creation
  • Team progress reporting of local markets to regional management team
  • Overall team management of Malaysian SFMC team
  • Driver and owner of all project streams, finance and reporting
  • Prioritizes regional technical implementation of journeys, segmentation, reporting, landing pages and integrations
  • Plan centrally customer journey rollouts to the markets
  • Senior technical coordination of Core team and CJ Hub and Markets
  • Evaluate actual market activation status
  • Develop SFMC Activation Roadmap based on status priorities and external dependencies
  • Create plan for SFMC journey creation (Business part) of blueprint and facilitate common tool usage to capture in common approach
  • Define how to kickoff new journeys in markets (facilitate structure for common target picture and intermediate MVPs, like workshops)
  • Management of work/ dependency/ issues and risk in central repository Jira
  • Play a key role in setup of the new Malaysia Hub - Define operating model with markets and regional headquarter.
  • Define Roles & Responsibilities in Overseas SFMC Operations team
  • Define Roles & Responsibilities with IT and Markets to avoid overlaps
     

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of overall work experience – Senior PM / Manager level
  • Over 3 years of experience as the lead project manager for full lifecycle delivery of services, projects or programs
  • Experience in a direct client facing role
  • Technical management expertise in the context of CRM and Use Case rollout, ideally in the context of Saleforce Marketing Cloud, ideally with SFMC certification
  • Shall be able to lead with technical knowledge the SFMC team in Malaysia with approximately 6 people locally this year, with potential increase up to 12 people over course of next 2 years.
  • Ability to work remote with offshore teams in Germany and India, and 17 markets globally
  • Must be able to manage and influence stakeholders (internal/ client) while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Experience of delivering one or more fixed time, fixed price or SLA based managed services engagements
  • Ability to challenge scope/ requirements and review non-technical deliverables such as user documentation, estimates, etc
  • Knowledge of 2 or more effort and cost estimation methodologies/ frameworks
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills
  • Good client facing and intercultural communication skills
  • Experience with multi market stakeholder management (~ 17 markets in Asia, middle east, Australia, South America, plus offshore team in India and Regional team in Germany)
  • Project management expertise in definition of planning, roles & responsibilities and establishing processes team internal and external

Job Expectations
