Job Description

The Account Director role requires pharmaceutical, FDA regulatory experience.

You will provide business and consumer insight through strong collaboration with senior account management, strategic and creative teams, while leading your internal account management team. You will partner with senior leadership to help drive revenue and ensure efficient delivery of the client’s scope of work

We have several fully integrated projects and it will be important to have strong account leadership to manage the work flow, across agency cooperation and deliverables.

         Set direction and vision for the brand while having a passion and instinct for big      ideas

           Be the champion of the work 

          “Collaborative” is a core tenet of the work. Candidate will be moving across brands and skills sets. Humor, pragmatism and passion will help but the ability to pull people together is critical. 

           Travel, we are often in unusual places and at unusual times of day

           Integrated experience, candidate should have ability to  manage different verticals with humility and ease.

          Maintain knowledge of all deadlines, performance measures and financial figures  

         Embrace and direct the integrated communication strategy

           Seek opportunities to advance the client relationship and build agency business

          Demonstrate a robust understanding of the roles and metrics of other                 communication channels and have the ability to lead integrated efforts

           Proactively address future Client and Agency problems and opportunities; don’t shy away from hard conversations

           Effectively sell great work (and keep it sold) which will require carefully navigating through client’s stakeholder system

           Have the ability to identify and leverage new agency revenue opportunities for organic growth

           Develop team talent and skill set; mentor staff and develop career path for team

          Have sensibility to manage cultural differences with a smile and patience. 

Qualifications

Other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or related field, preferred but necessary. We are looking for diversity across the board.
  • Approximately 10 years of pharmaceutical, FDA regulatory, advertising/marketing experience with at least 8 years of managerial experience
  • Passion and instinct for big ideas
  • Established credibility among colleagues and Clients
  • Proven client and team leadership abilities
  • Leadership qualities to inspire internal and external partners
  • Exceptional writing, speaking and presentation skills
  • Problem solving mentality
  • Deep broadcast and online video production experience
  • Track record of developing integrated programs across paid, owned and earned digital touchpoints
