Job Description

This role will be based in Singapore.

Are you passionate about all aspects of social from content creation to paid media and social analytics?

As a Social Strategist, you’ll be working in a team that is formulating and executing regional strategies for the promotion of movies, TV shows, and TV channels in social channels. This team will be made up of people who are each social media specialist for a particular SEA country. They will be taking it in turns to shape regional plans (based on suitability for the brief), working together to contribute country-level insight (both from an audience and platform point of view).

To be able to do this, you must be immersed in the predominant social platforms in your country of expertise, having a strong understanding of what’s currently happening culturally. We are also looking for people who can contribute insight based on their personal passions – sport, movie franchises, etc.

Through your knowledge, understanding, and passion of the social media landscape you will be supported by the Strategy lead for the account, and each other – working together to set the standard for entertainment promotion in the region, constantly impressing the client and making other entertainment brands eager to work with them.

Qualifications

You would ideally have:

  • 4 + years’ experience working in a digital/social agency
  • Extensive experience on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube (any other local platforms)
  • A creative thinker with a strategic approach to content planning
  • Social media reporting experience
  • Experience of working with social listening tools and social media management tools
  • Experience of working closely with Social Creatives
  • Highly embedded knowledge of the local Vietnamese market online culture.
