Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role represents an amazing opportunity for a strong account executive to join Publicis Resolute’s growing business as part of their award-winning team. 

Working as an account executive will provide you with the fundamental skillset that will set you up for a glowing career within the industry – particularly at Publicis Resolute as you will be spanning both our public relations and medical education accounts, giving you unique cross-discipline insights and experience. You will be working closely with the wider account management team helping grow the account, providing financial updates and researching/analysing new industry trends. In this role, you will own the logistics, administration and day-to-day account work associated with one of our biggest clients. You will be responsible for budget updates, invoices and status reports, while learning all you can from the account managers, account directors and group account directors in the team. We will expect you to communicate effectively at all levels, be professional, friendly and eager to learn as many new skills as you can. You should be able to compose persuasive, credible written communication both internally and externally, you should demonstrate creativity, insight, and confidence at all times. 

This is a hands-on role and can be really challenging at times - but the agency is a lot of fun to work in and well worth the effort. Teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of our business. Brand/Market/Agency Knowledge

·       Has knowledge of key competitors (strengths, weaknesses, positioning and performance) and competitive environment (customer perceptions, attitudes and usage).

·       Assesses and analyses industry audits and quantitative research.

·       Demonstrates significant knowledge of agency procedures, issues faced and contributes to problem resolution.

·       Assists with the management and logistics of a range of projects, across both public relations and medical education.

·       Demonstrates knowledge of the healthcare market and regulations.

·       Demonstrates knowledge of therapy areas on assigned accounts.

 

Client Relations/Communication Skills

·       Develops and maintains harmonious client relationships and manages client expectations to foster effectiveness/productivity.

·       Effectively and concisely communicates basic agency recommendations to clients.

·       Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and provides timely follow-up (e.g. contact reports).

·       Demonstrates solid writing ability.

·       Demonstrates influence and diplomacy in written and verbal presentations – both internally and externally facing.

·       Is able to solve client issues with minimal supervision.

 

Strategic and Tactical Planning

·       Understands the client’s brand, the key issues, strategy and positioning.

·       Has knowledge of marketing concepts and practices.

·       Contributes to communication strategies/key issues identification (e.g. SWOT analyses and brand platform briefs).

·       Evaluates creative output against clients brief.

·       Shows resourcefulness and thoroughness in developing tactical plans (including budgets and timelines).

 

Financial Acumen

·       Assists with budgets, begins to own the process, and assists in creating tactical plan for fee development.

·       Invoices projects at designated milestones.

·       Keeps an accurate record of time spent on client work via weekly timesheets and attains a client percentage billable target.

·       Maintains accurate and current files/reports.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE 

·       You will have some commercial experience

·       You must have an interest in working within healthcare - we will expect to see genuine enthusiasm for what we do here

·       You will have exceptional strong verbal and written communication skills and be seen as a logical, confident ‘voice’ to clients and internal stakeholders alike

·       You should have strong attention to detail and good listening skills

·       You will hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
