Job Description

As a primary focus, we are looking for a graphic designer who is ready to take their career to the next level by coupling design and data to create compelling data storytelling in various formats. As a secondary focus, the designer will keep innovating various branding elements to bring our product to life.

The data storyteller's job responsibility includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, infographics and photos that best tell the story the subject matter experts want to tell. You will be the one to shape the visual aspects of newsletters, playbooks, presentations, templates, exhibitions and more.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate data and requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities:

-Study design briefs and determine requirements

-Schedule projects and define delivery methods

-Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

-Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

-Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software (Adobe suite or others)

-Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

-Work with a team of professionals in the areas of data sciences, content, commerce, and performance media to produce final design

-Amend designs after feedback to ensure the message is never lost

-Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

-Adapt multiple brand identities and be able to have an agile environment to fit content in multiple templates

-Able to animate ideas and bring a creative multimedia design to static work

-Ability to evolve and up skill self with the ever evolving ecosystem of graphics design

-Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines ensuring overall delivery without letting perfection hinder delivery

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to decide on priorities

-Ability to create short form videos for marketing or credential purposes

Qualifications

-Proven graphic designing experience

-A strong portfolio of infographics work, user interface design, illustrations, branding or other graphics

-Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Premiere)

-A keen eye for aesthetics and details

-Excellent communication skills (English is a must, Arabic is a plus)

-Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

-Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
