Job Description

The Creative Director manages and leads the Creative Department to ensure the highest quality and consistency in the Creative product when fulfilling Client needs, and to position the Agency as a creative leader in the marketplace.  The Creative Director is responsible for attracting, assessing and maintaining the quality and quantity of the creative resources necessary to properly service the Agency’s business.  The Creative Director is a key member of the leadership team. You will be a pro at managing large-scale, cross-channel deliverables, and you’ll use your awesome energy to help floor our clients on a daily basis. 

  • Ensure that Business Development & Strategic Planning provide appropriate briefs and information for the creative process to begin
  • Asks questions which lead to insights in order to spark creative ideas
  • Evaluate creative strategy and executions for all work
  • Fosters an atmosphere that encourages outstanding work
  • Monitor progress of major campaigns and assesses marketplace impact
  • Build and sustain close partnership with Managing Director in determining creative leadership goals
  • Act as final arbiter in resolving creative issues and problems
  • Work “hands-on” for special “pushes” and new business presentations
  • Take an active role in the creative development process of new business and be an integral part of the new business team
  • Ensure that all Creative staff comply with internal accounting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Annual performance improvement for local, national and international awards

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of related experience  in agency
  • Experienced in leading large, integrated, cross-channel campaigns
  • Delivering outstanding client presentations: You’ll be the greatest advocate for our work, but you’ll also listen and internalize feedback so that we can come back with creative that exceeds expectations
  • Expertly managing the creative process: You’ll have several balls in the air at once, and you’ll keep things flowing smoothly, continually reviewing and optimizing every piece of creative work your team produces
  • Winning new business: You’ll throw your expertise into the art of crafting new business pitches that leave us and our prospective clients feeling awed & inspired
  • Inspiring & motivating your creative team: You’ll galvanize them to execute large-scale, cross-channel projects that are creatively brilliant and strategically on point, on time and on budget
  • Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print
  • Proven experience with concept development
  • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
