Job Description

We are looking for a strong Paid Social Account Director to work closely with the Business Director and take the lead on this fantastic account.

This is a very large account working across multiple markets for a leading fashion retailer.

You will;

  • Support the Account Lead and BD on the strategic development and growth of the account, ensuring best in class strategy being implemented across the team
  • Support the Account Lead and BD on validating the importance of Brand Social activity in driving impact on online and offline performance through test & learn, and bespoke measurement solutions like Brand Lift, DAR and Holdout test.
  • To ensure client and agency targets are achieved and effectively grow Paid Social revenue
  • Provide guidance to the Account Managers on day-to-day media performance of the global brand and local activities
  • Own Response To Brief for brand campaigns, working closely with the Account Managers to deliver a data-driven, strategic response and media plans
  • Line manage all Account Managers' career development and progression

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, and self-starting Paid Social Account Director who can work autonomously on projects if needed, but also enjoys working within a team with a strong, collaborative working ethos. The client’s business will require us to work at a fast pace and alongside multiple stakeholders, so we’re looking for a positive, can-do attitude from someone joining the team. Retail experience would be ideal but is not compulsory. Experience across both brand and performance would also be a positive attribute to have given the nature of the client’s business, but again not necessarily a must.

  • Must currently be an account director in a paid social team or equivalent level (c. 5 yrs. experience)
  • Experience planning,  managing  and  activating both  brand  and  direct  response campaigns on  Paid Social (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest)
  • Advanced knowledge of Facebook family of apps, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat
  • Demonstrable examples of driving innovation in Biddable media
  • Experience managing a team of 5+ people: hiring and developing talent, conducting appraisals, as well as performance management
