Job Description

As an SEO Account Director you will be a confident leader, responsible for managing a team of specialists delivering multi-market Owned Media campaigns for international clients. You will be expected to execute and drive forward strategies by building excellent client relationships, leveraging the expertise of internal UX and Content teams. 

You will be responsible for developing the overall Owned Strategy approach for clients, including packaging the full range of Owned Media services, building optimal operating models for which these services can be rolled out.  

Key Duties include:

  • Ensure high levels of service are delivered from all Owned Media team members working on accounts
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered to a professional standard and in line with the agreed timings
  • Devising the optimal owned media strategy and owned media activation for clients based on their budgets, target audience and KPIs
  • Reviewing and interrogating client briefs to ensure the optimal owned media strategy response is devised with an appropriate flighting schedule
  • Devising and agreeing client targets and ensuring Owned Media team achieves the KPIs set out at campaign planning stage
  • Produce performance projections, based on accurate data and a valid methodology, presented to clients in an understandable way

Qualifications

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to Independently contribute to strategic account planning for Owned Media clients including having the opportunity to grow and cross-sell existing clients, as well as contributing to new business opportunities. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with clients on strategies that span the entire path to purchase
  • Thorough understanding of how to measure impact of owned media based strategies through analytics platforms and other external metrics.
  • Thorough understanding of how to identify organic search opportunity, set business-relevant KPIs, project organic search performance and estimate expected return-on-investment.
  • An understanding of how to use Search Trends, Demographic and User-behaviour data to reinforce an owned-first strategy.
