Job Description

 

Overview:

Manage local media investments and achieve key performance deliverables for local television.

Responsibilities:

  • Project accurate audience estimates in assigned geographies.
  • Negotiate efficient and effective local activations, delivering competitive value and targeted content to ensure the lowest rate within guidelines.
  • Maintain pulse on the media marketplace including pricing, competitive activity and inventory assessment.
  • Understand marketplace uniqueness: geography, coverage, ethnicity and meaningful competitor information.
  • Inform necessary constituencies of marketplace opportunities to drive impact and value for our clients.
  • Track confirmation of Client budgets and billing reconciliation.
  • Generate pre-in-and post-buy reports to ensure Nielsen and/or comScore. audience projections are monitored and audit deliverables are achieved.
  • Stewardship of buys:
    • Maintain confirmation of purchase, schedules, budgets and reconciliation of station billing.
    • Verify accuracy of weeks, spots and budgets.
  • Negotiate ROI, audience deficiency, bonus and goodwill weight as needed.
  • Manage and meet all due dates.
  • Participate in Moxie training provided to you.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with sales management and representatives to ensure favorable consideration for all Moxie clients.
  • Assist in training and mentoring Associates and Trainees as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years relevant business experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience in MediaOcean is preferred.
