Publicis Groupe has been appointed by Beiersdorf as the global agency partner for NIVEA, the world’s leading skin-care brand, for every market globally. For NIVEA we have built a bespoke agency called Publicis One Touch, a name that embodies the NIVEA brand purpose of ‘The Power of Touch’. 

Publicis One Touch is a new agency model that brings together data, creativity and technology to help build a truly integrated approach to the Nivea brand. This model is designed to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and consistency of NIVEA marketing. 

To deliver the creative scope and the implementation we will have powerhouses across 8 hubs in New York, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Bangkok, Moscow. The new Agency will be led from a Hamburg HQ, and use a network of Publicis One Touch teams in over 40 other markets to cover the NIVEA world.

Job Description

As a Creative Director your goal besides champion creative quality is to creative leadership on new strategic platform briefs: the ideas will be 360 - working through traditional global media - TV and print, but will also have a huge emphasis on instore retail, social, influencer and digital channels.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities​​​​​​:

  • Champion creative quality
  • Bring big ideas and visual vision to life and collaboration with internal stakeholders and the client
  • Manage client relationships
  • Responsibility for one of the following categories: face/cleansing, body/cream, mens or deodorant
  • Inspire and mentor team to develop impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision ensuring consistency
  • Attend client meetings for presenting creative concepts
  • Ensure creative is executed within agreed strategy, deadlines, and budget

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • Client facing skills are a must, as is the ability to travel when needed
  • Copy background
  • Expertise in beauty/skincare within agency
  • Expertise in leading global integrated campaigns 
  • Ability to lead creative through conceptual development through post-production across all channels including retail
  • Ability to both lead tasks as a CD and work on briefs as a creative when necessary
  • Ability to lead a large team from different cultures and backgrounds across different creative disciplines (Traditional,Digital/Social, PR, POS, CRM, etc) and ability to foster team culture in a newly built international agency
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking
  • Experience in being a creative director
  • Excellent presentation, time management, communication and leadership skills
  • Strong examples of production craft across media channels
  • Fluent in English and German
