Job Description

Summary

The Darwin Associate Product Manager will have an immediate impact in both the near and long term goals of the Product Team under direction of the Product Lead.  In the near term, they will leverage their strong expertise/background in the media space to optimize client books of businesses at scale through Performics’ proprietary products and driving the adoption of services though clear articulation of core value propositions.  In the long-term, the Associate Product Manager will shift from managing and building the core book of business into a focus on product roadmap definition and vision, as well as supporting cross-functional teams in product execution and launch. The role will require collaboration with key stakeholders within Performics and the product team to build solutions that drive execution across strategic objectives and differentiate Performics from both old and new forms of competitors. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable wearing many hats and driving innovative solutions from concept to polished product for difficult problems.  

Skills & Responsibilities

·         Media optimization support of client books of business through Performics proprietary products

·         Articulate core product value proposition to end clients & stakeholders

·         Drive adoption of products & services through supporting Media Teams on product pitches to end clients

·         Work with offshore Eng./Dev. Team members by project managing development sprints, setting expectations, and managing delivery timelines

·         Support Analytics & Technology in designing product test and use cases

·         Coordinate with the product and development teams to define product requirements and provide effective solutions

·         Supervise efficient working of all phases of product development including leading agile scrum ceremonies as needed

·         Consistently look for opportunities to improve team workflow and processes; ideal candidate will consistently look to transform the organization – expect to fail and consistently learn

·         Monitor all inquiries and issues for product and be able to articulate them clearly to team, prioritize them in the backlog, and ensure timely resolution

·         Develop various marketing strategies for products and ensure achievement of all market objectives to generate business value

·         Perform external and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, and market trends to identify market/product opportunities

·         Assist product team to define the product vision, strategy and roadmap

·         Monitor performance measurements to ensure product and or business process is tracking against goals. Recommend and implement corrective action as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree with concentration in business, computer science, marketing, or advertising preferred

·         Master’s Degree in business, computer science, advertising or marketing optimal

Experience

·         Minimum 2+ years’ experience in client & media management, as well as campaign optimization

·         Operationally minded: strong curiosity and general experience working with business process, business analysis, or project/product management within the digital marketing ecosphere

·         Excellent problem solver; thrives on brainstorming and building innovative solutions that consistently challenges the status quo

·         Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both in person and written

·         Ability to elicit requirements from others in a constructive manner and collaborate cross-functionally

·         Project management of offshore team members

·         Working understanding of an agile framework is optimal

·         Positive and strong team player with a good work ethic
