Job Description

The Sr. Analyst – Paid Social will work with complex datasets to deliver data-led findings, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve paid social campaign performance for one of the agency’s largest paid social clients. This position requires strong critical thinking, consulting and strategic marketing and analytical skills. The Sr. Analyst – Paid Social will apply knowledge of paid social marketing efforts to solve clients’ business problems and work collaboratively across various internal disciplines to drive marketing excellence and efficiency for our clients.

 

Responsibilities

·       Analyze a breadth of paid social datasets to provide actionable insight into the performance of clients’ paid social (part of omni-channel marketing) campaigns and efforts

·       Develop overarching measurement strategies and reporting of key business metrics

·       Provide insights and develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and analysis

·       Maintain functional expertise in database marketing, integrated channel marketing (including online based channels such as websites, banners, email and search), analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements

·       Work closely with respective team members from various disciplines (media, planning/strategy, account) within the agency and the client to optimize and coordinate campaign strategies

·       Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing measurement methodologies

·       Manage the tracking & reporting deliverables

·       Ensure consistent & relevant analytics designed to optimize & influence strategic direction

·       Develop and manage testing roadmap aligned to strategic direction and a deployment schedule for the program

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       4-5 Years in Digital Marketing Analytics, especially experience in paid social analytics, strategic planning and analysis

·       Demonstrable knowledge of paid social analytics platforms, testing tools and other business intelligence tools (i.e., Tableau or other similar tools)

·       Experience with Paid Social Ad Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn)

·       Detail oriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends; intellectually curious

·       Able to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data; strong Storyteller and Insights communicator

·       Proven track record of driving analytical insights into tangible results

·       Visual presentation of data through Excel, Tableau, etc.

·       Passion for Analytics, Measurement and Testing

·       Media planning or buying (especially paid social) experience is a plus

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong experience presenting to clients

·       Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent communication, management and time prioritization skills

·       Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, and paid social

·       Experience with data analytics platforms (Alteryx) or statistical tools (such as R, SPSS, SAS) and techniques is a plus

 

Reporting and Succession

 

·       Reports to Director, Analytics

·       This position is supported by 2 Analysts (although will not directly report to this role)

·       Will require working with a remote team (domestic + offshore)
