Job Description

 

This position requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to lead the day to day management of an account. They will be activating digital strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation, as well as programmatic strategic oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide & drive investment strategies and help to set overall objectives
  • Knowledge of all digital execution platforms: adservers (DCM/Innovid), verification (IAS/DoubleVerfiy), buying platforms (Prisma/MediaOcean), data visualization (tableau), project management (JIRA)
  • Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of specified media plans by planners & assistants
  • Effective communication across internal and external agency teams; driving teamwork and collaboration to deliver best results to clients
  • Compile and present actionable insights of media performance to clients in a timely manner, using data to craft a story
  • Lead client presentations and internal meetings
  • Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs on industry news/trends and the impact to clients’ campaigns/business, both long and short term
  • Familiarity with Programmatic strategies and platforms
  • Build, maintain and grow client relationships and client business
  • Build and maintain relationships with external industry contacts and internal agency counterparts
  • Ownership of client budget management, ensuring monthly/quarterly/annual goals are met
  • Oversee Vendor Billing: insertion orders, monthly billing reports, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliations
  • Training/Support of Assistant Negotiators & Negotiators in billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research
  • Knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints (e.g. digital mobile, social, video)
  • Prepare and deliver digital trafficking specs and guidelines, as well as traffic sheets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of digital media buying/planning experience; minimum 1-2 years at a media agency
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.
  • Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work well with a team; function as a leader, and also work independently
  • Previous Automotive experience preferred
