We do this by uncovering data-driven insights that inform marketing, creative messaging and media decisions.

Publicis Imagine is now looking for a new Account Director  to join this exciting team.  This is an opportunity to work on a global disruptive brand and be part of a team leading the change and driving businesses into the future.

Job Description

The Account Director will provide strategic leadership and guidance of the media team in terms of conception and delivering innovations and perform planning functions on more complicated and challenging projects.  As well as help mentor and contributing to the overall growth and the career path for the team.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of client business from current perspective as well as historical 
  • Actively listens to clients and continually identifies opportunities that makes the company indispensable to clients
  • Recommend, plan, coordinate, execute and ensure the quality of work for all client deliverables 
  • Continually assesses the competitiveness of the team practices against competition, industries and markets
  • Effectively negotiates fee with client to ensure agency is making fair profit
  • Ensures current staff is fully utilized and operating effectively to meet client needs within budget 
  • Participates in the overall management of the company, new business and offering support to business issues and supporting senior management decisions
  • Provides thought leadership to colleagues, clients and projects which may include gathering information, consumer research, marketing and strategic planning
  • Coach, develop and mentor junior team members
  • Take a lead role in recruitment of new staff and make hiring recommendations for team 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 10+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying and management
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of success in the media services profession
  • Able to establish and manage to P&L statement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strong command of media research and reporting resources
