Job Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver best in class client service, building trust with our US consumer technology client and their HQ counterparts to develop and evolve communications and media strategy
  • Serve as the planning team leader and direct point of contact with the client to help champion their process, build a great relationship, and ultimately grow the business
  • Lead a planning team in Dallas and NY to translate client’s challenges, objectives, marketing goals, and brand positioning into central communication strategies
  • Communicate opportunities, learnings, and recommendations with authority and credibility
  • Ensure that client relationships continue to be strengthened by quality of deliverables and satisfaction of team work across the board
  • Develop platforms and innovative communication strategies for the client, while partnering the activation teams in plan development and execution to make sure all tactics role up to overarching strategy
  • Collaborate with Investment, Analytics and Owned Experience teams to oversee the deployment and activation of data driven marketing
  • Provide vision, direction, management, and support to direct and indirect reports
  • Champion adoption of planning process/techniques that result in innovative media platforms and, when it makes sense, bespoke solutions
  • Understand additional needs and other possible resource improvements, in an effort to regularly elevate the communications planning process
  • Ensure teams adopt best in class tools, techniques, systems to deliver plan recommendations
  • Provide thought leadership internally, to the client, and across agency partners, including the below but not limited to: consumer behaviors, creative media platforms, emerging media opportunities and Innovative partner programs
  • Demonstrate an intimate understanding of how consumers interact with channels and technology
  • Oversee the progress of all projects, assist team to make sure deadlines are met, and ensure high quality output
  • Developing strong internal and external partner relationships
  • Develop consumer journeys and ecosystems when building custom marketing programs and strategies
  • Monitor and ensure that media plans are steeped in consumer insight, through collaboration with the business intelligence team
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client business and competitive landscape
  • Help design, roll out, and manage the implementation of processes, templates, and timelines for all marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • B.S. or MBA, preferably in Marketing, or Advertising
  • 5+ years of management experience in a media, digital and/or marketing role.
  • Able to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination, through how to best flight and execute campaigns to align with clients strategic goals and KPIs
  • Adept at injecting ideas, innovation and leading industry developments into planning assignments
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication (PPT, visual story telling necessary) allowing individual to explain how comms plans were developed, what they entail, and how they could be executed
  • Experienced in delivery of complex multi-faceted, multi-channel paid media campaigns for large national brands
  • Strong leadership, guiding cross functional staff
