Assistant Negotiator, Digital , 19-2895

Overview:

The Assistant Negotiator aids the group he/she is assigned to and willingly pitches in on other accounts when asked.  This position is entry-level to the ad agency.  Job function and tasks will range from reporting to the Buyer or Supervisor the Assistant provides help to internal teams when requested.   The tasks range from media cost/plan preparation to securing and negotiation space. This position requires data input, organizational skills, and constant follow up/follow through. 

Digital, planning, strategy, digital activation, tracking, launch, digital activation for Disney Parks, Disney Plus

Responsibilities:

•Assist with planning and implementation for client accounts across digital and magazine

•Providing support with billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research

•Support Negotiators as they kraft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value

•Assist Supervisor in negotiation of Buys, Makegoods, Positioning, Value Add Negotiations

•Learn all ad serving platforms

•Prepare and deliver buying and or digital trafficking specs and guidelines

•Continuously search for opportunities to be positive and to share the positive side to every situation

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree; related internship experience strongly preferred

•1-2 years of media buying/planning, digital activation experience

Using Prisma and Doubleclick, Excel, PowerPoint

•Must have strong analytical, research, strategy, and quantitative skills

•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skills

•Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment

•Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.
