Job Description

The Supervisor, Activation Strategy will have a deep understanding of Social activation to consult and solve for strategic Client challenges. As a paid social SME, the Supervisor of Activation Strategy will advise PM Agency teams on activation best practices & strategies. The Supervisor, Activation Strategy will also be responsible for the development of collateral focused on driving activation excellence across the Groupe.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on activation and onboarding support for strategic Clients
  • Implement daily campaign optimizations and/or optimization recommendations to improve campaign performance on strategic client accounts; Ability to deploy advanced optimizations tactics to further maximize performance
  • Audit existing Social activation practices for strategic Client accounts to ensure best practices are observed
  • Seasoned war room activation expert, experience embedding with client teams a plus
  • Test out emerging social platforms (Reddit, Tik Tok, etc) and support in the development of training materials and POVs
  • Inform Verified & Publicis Media Product roadmaps based on activation considerations and Client feedback
  • Keep a pulse on the constantly evolving marketplace, and collaborate closely with Partnerships & Standards to ensure marketplace POVs address activation strategy considerations and Client concerns
  • Support in the curation of first-to-market Client driven solutions – inclusive of activation support, collateral development, and testing frameworks
  • Effectively manage cross-functional initiatives and relationships across agencies and partners
  • Support in the development of activation recommendations, tech evaluations, framework of analytics focused projects, client education, thought-leadership deliverables, and marketplace POVs 
  • Support in the development of hands on keyboard training programs and online modules to support in the advancement of junior traders
  • Support in the development of advanced training materials, playbooks and best practices focused on driving social activation excellence

Sample of Activation Strategy Projects Include

  • Collaborate with Central Trading partners to establish scalable, best in class activation
  • Work closely with Precision counterparts to support transition managed service media to sustainable self-service activation
  • Assist in onboarding and establishing agency trading teams for Tier-1 clientele
  • Support Client focused PMD evaluations – inclusive of management and development of the RFI process and associated recommendations
  • Develop best practices and guides for social activation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Social Media experience, with an emphasis in social activation (minimum 3 years trading experience)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred.
  • Extensive experience in campaign management and optimization across Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Thorough understanding of major social platform algorithms, ad products, optimization levers, and roadmaps also pertaining to broader industry developments
  • Experience leveraging one or more PMD platforms (4C, Amobee, Brand Networks, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of 3P measurement capabilities and restrictions within the primary social partners
  • Excel fluency in pivot tables, charts, vlookups and basic equations—knowledge of macros and visual basic is a plus
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, analyzing reporting and identifying trends
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Flexible with the ability to keep up with a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate and lead projects across multiple teams and functions
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables 
  • Able to collaborate with teams located in different offices across the world
