Job Description

Apex Exchange is a Publicis Groupe agency focused on delivering unique opportunities to our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, steward and track buys, including added value opportunities
  • Maintain buys – confirm flighting and copy-splits, estimate and track delivery, secure make-goods and ADUs, clear discrepancies, request and issue pre-logs and post analyses
  • Ensure commercial inventory is entered into MBOX system including estimate and package set up, issuing client schedules, managing inventory, overseeing changes, resolving billing discrepancies and writing/checking order letters
  • Assist in pre-buy work including research to develop network/daypart cost per points
  • Execute network negotiations including negotiating, analyzing plans, maintaining buy summary
  • Assist in developing presentation material for clients
  • Work closely with assistant and act as teacher/mentor to ensure their work within MBOX system is correct, check all assistant work related to buys, tracking, posting and weekly weights, ADUs and traffic
  • Assist traffic team to ensure creative and instructions are issued in a timely manner
  • Act as liaison with networks for all client requests
  • Maintain market profile and rate history

Qualifications

  • BA, 2+ years of experience in either National TV or Direct Response media buying and account management
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Direct client contact experience helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Team Player
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Core and/or MBOX a plus
