Job Description

The Senior Associate Media of Strategy and Activation will work cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to develop and execute direct-site strategies for a top, high profile global electronics retail client.  The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive, creative thinker, who is good with numbers and has a an ongoing curiosity of the ever-changing media landscape and keeping ahead of digital marketing trends.  

Must haves include at least one year of experience in digital media strategy and activation.  Successful candidates will be globally minded individual contributors with the ability to collaborate, be highly communicative and most importantly, agile.  This is a junior level role requiring 1 to 2 years of experience that is part of a fast-pace, supportive, dedicated team that supports a high profile client in the pharma industry. 

  • Own aspects of the planning and activation process for direct-site digital advertising initiatives
  • Successfully contribute to building strong client relationships. The team will interact with the client on a regular basis to understand their needs and help them reach their target market and be a proactive strategic partner in helping them to grow their business
  • Collaborate with media supervisors, directors and associates to create cutting edge strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Search and Programmatic Team
  • Pivot Optimization
  • Provide support to the strategy team by managing reoccurring and ad hock projects
  • Strategize with your team and the client to develop innovative, well-targeted marketing solutions
  • Come up with alternative media solutions and, when it makes sense, re-create the wheel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, applied mathematics, consumer insights or related field 
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in digital media buying and/or planning
  • At least 9 months of directly related experience in digital planning and activation
  • Strong understanding of digital media strategy and tools
  • Understanding of multiple media channels
  • Ability to think beyond "media" as an active creative collaborator and look for unconventional solutions to problems.
  • Analytical mindset and adeptness with media math
