In our (global) projects, you assume the expert role as a Datawarehouse Architect with Microsoft Azure focus and design the data models and technical implementation of new and existing data sources. You work closely with other data specialists and are significantly responsible for the further development of the global reporting landscape. Based on the customers’ requirements you will analyse / review Azure Cloud Services and find the most suitable solution to ensure a scalable and future proven system that aligns with the overall data strategy

Responsibilities:

• Optimization and further development of existing as well as new data warehouse solutions utilising Azure cloud services
• Conceptual design / documentation of data models and best practices
• Prototyping and implementation of new modelling approaches
• Analysis and preparation of technical requirements
• Consulting for other teams and divisions (e.g. software development, BI)
• Conducting briefings and steering the development teams (internal & external)
• Establishing and ensuring standards, quality, stability and robustness along the entire process chain

• You have expert knowledge of Azure Cloud services with focus on data-warehousing
• You have a high sense of responsibility, self-reliance and proactivity with a 'hands-on' mentality
• You have a high level of technical affinity and a strong analytical mindset
• You are open for innovative topics and bring curiosity & willingness to learn with you
• You communicate fluently in English, German would be desirable
