Job Description

This role sits in the content team so no two days are the same. You could be writing blog posts one day to creating social media assets the next.

You will be an exceptional, adaptable writer and able to write content in different styles and formats as per strict tone of voice guidelines. It is also important that you have a basic understanding of search engine optimisation and how to optimise copy for SEO.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional copywriting ability – ideally with experience working on at least one brand
  • Ability to adapt tone to a wide range of different clients
  • Ability to adapt style to a range new formats – the role includes writing website articles and landing pages, short-form ad and social copy, email newsletters and chatbots
  • Receptive to feedback and able to make constructive changes in response
  • Basic SEO knowledge – an understanding of Google keyword planner and/or cannibalisation would be helpful
  • Experience using Wordpress and other content management systems
  • Brainstorming ideas for content development and giving input at status meetings
  • Build relationships with other content teams and understand clients' business & competitors

Qualifications

  • Excellent English language writing skills, strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work in a team with good communication skills
  • Organised – strong time management and task prioritisation are both key
  • Account management – client contact will be involved in the role so they should be  confident explaining team position. Be able to work under pressure and manage high volume workloads effectively
  • Strategic-minded – a big-picture thinker who can see both quick wins and long-term client goals. Have an interest in new advertising trends + innovation
  • A capacity for editing and proofreading, with good research skills
  • Experience of writing content for a variety of industries, formats & styles
