Job Description

This division focuses on the ‘corporate brand’ of a premier financial services company whose mission is to enable growth and progress globally. Our goal is to continuously elevate the brand’s reputation with clients, prospects, policy makers of today and the leaders of tomorrow – with a fresh view on what progress means to people. The ideal candidate is excited to make an impact, thrives on senior client interaction, enjoys mentoring reports as well as managing the strategic product from inception to completion in collaboration with smart brand strategists, buyers, creatives, and marketing scientists.

You will be a leader on the Corporate team, reporting directly into an EVP, Managing Director, and will oversee multichannel planning and budget management with a strong emphasis on digital and social, building reputation and preference for a top global brand. You will also be part of a bigger team of media strategists, as your peers will lead media planning on the other divisions of the account including consumer products and services and acquisition marketing.

Responsibilities
•Lead planning across media and sponsorship for one division of a premium global account
•Develop annual plans and campaigns from start to finish
•Design comms plan in coordination with brand strategists
•Recommend budgets and channels with strong, clear rationale
•Mine fresh and actionable insights which inform media strategy
•Create persuasive presentations (written and oral)
•Identify valuable findings as part of post-campaign report, and then bring it all back full circle
•Author/edit concise POVs on opportunities that might arise throughout the year
•Find fun, thought-provoking ways to educate team/clients on emerging cultural, tech and channel trends
•Project manage the above - responsible for accuracy, quality and timely delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+  years of overall media planning experience - both digital & traditional 
• Good understanding of the media planning, buying, tagging and creative processes
• Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills
• Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in a discussion to field complex or sensitive questions from internal groups
• Professional presentation, training and client-facing skills
• Effective negotiation and conflict management/risk mitigation skills
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Takes initiative & personal responsibility for work
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Accountability and flexibility with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-player attitude
