Job Description

This is a high profile role within Publicis Groupe, acting as the leader for one of the most dynamic and fastest growing areas of the business. You will provide leadership to your team, agency and clients, and will be required to lead our programmatic offering. Reporting into the Chief of Investment, you will use your expertise to provide counsel on the key decisions that shape the department and make it one that is future-facing and best in market.

Your team

You will be responsible for a central team of 4 experienced agency individuals leading Precision across 4 key pillars; Commercial, Solutions, Services & Talent. You will also indirectly manage a team of 45+ who are embedded within the Agencies, providing overall vision for the Publicis Precision product

As Head of Precision UK, you will work closely with the rest of the central PMX trading team to deliver commercial objectives against targets, deliver innovative client focused solutions & product development and ensure we are servicing agencies with the right talent, creating a culture where we are able to maintain and develop existing talent.

Qualifications

  • Acting as the go-to expert on programmatic industry topics, you will provide thought leadership on behalf of Publicis Media
  • Working with the PMX central team you will continue to develop our programmatic product as part of an wider PMX and Publicis portfolio
  • Scope out new opportunities in the programmatic space to ensure we stay market-leading and develop clear product plans to sell new ideas internally
  • Develop flexible & market leading commercial models to deliver value for both PM & it’s clients
  • Be proactive with Learning & Development for both programmatic teams in order to develop best in class talent, and also educate the wider agency teams and drive programmatic adoption
  • Consult with our top-tier clients on their technology selection in relation to programmatic buying, and work with account teams to develop client specific roadmaps
  • Develop strong relationships with strategic partners such as Google, Amazon and Adobe that drive value and accountability
  • Drive close collaboration with Partnerships, Advanced TV & APEX teams to maximise value & quality of product for both clients and Publicis Media
  • Be an inspirational team leader, fostering a strong and cohesive working culture
  • Improve operational effectiveness and efficiency of team through appropriate resource planning, including working with GDD hubs across the network
  • Active involvement in growing new business by contributing to RFP submissions, developing sustainable pricing structures and representing Publicis Media & its brands in sales pitch meetings.
  • Maximise the revenue opportunity for Precision and be responsible for its overall commercial performance – managing the team P&L, forecasting as accurately as possible, optimising client spend
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for clients across the wider business that will drive additional revenue, such as consultancy services or complimentary agency solutions
  • Develop approaches for growth of Programmatic into other channels (e.g OOH, Audio, TV etc)
