Job Description

VM1 Precision is looking for a Director, Paid Social to join our team. This position requires a highly motivated, technically savvy, detail oriented, and entrepreneurial person to lead the day-to-day management across the B2B Precision Social business. This individual will develop/deliver/inspire Zenith and VM1’s vision of Live ROI and our audience first approach as a mantra and help champion that spirit to their team, while positioning the agency as an interactive strategy leader.  The position reports directly into the Director of Precision Social.

 Responsibilities:

·         Design strategies for leveraging paid media on social networks across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn to deliver against brand objectives 

·         Develop action plans for achieving and measuring social media success, including setting key metrics, measurement and optimization strategies

·         Advocate the value of social media and help educate clients, partners and internal teams on the latest developments and capabilities in this quickly evolving media channel

·         Apply social media knowledge and creativity to brainstorming and strategy sessions

·         Lead regular check-ins on campaign performance and track against KPIs

·         Manage and provide support to a team of 5+ members of social leadership and buyers

·         Successfully manage down and up to the Director and VP of Social

·         Educate team by pushing innovative thinking and driving unique value propositions for our clients

·         Provide direction as needed for improving campaign performance through optimization and/or implementing new features and strategies

·         Create and deliver presentations to both clients and internal teams showcasing campaign strategy and performance results

·         Develop points of view on new technologies, trends and opportunities in the social media marketplace

 

Requirements:

·         Minimum of 6+ years working with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn ads platforms with hands-on experience managing and optimizing buys through API and/or self-serve tools

·         Minimum of 6+ years of working in digital media and marketing

·         Minimum of 4+ years managing people and teams of 4+

·         Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing API/self-serve buys on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn

·         Experience in applying social marketing to drive strict KPI’s against brand-building & direct response initiatives

·         Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations

·         Understanding of best practices for leveraging social media for brand communication

·         Must possess strong leadership skills and be comfortable presenting ideas to senior client management

·         Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

·         Collaborative approach/attitude

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to prioritize and organize issues/projects 

·         Excellent understanding of digital fundamentals and research
