Job Description

Manager Analytics

The Manger Analytics will work will work with clients to answer strategic questions with data. This high visibility role provides the opportunity to be deeply integrated into the client’s business and support projects that directly impact the bottom line. This position requires consulting, marketing, and analytical skills, and will work collaboratively with Media, Strategy, Account and Analytics Leadership to drive marketing excellence and efficiency for our clients.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Client/Account facing LEADER representing marketing analytics and data driven strategy recommendations
  • Connector within the Moxie organization as well as within client organizations; Opportunity seeker.
  • Responsible for driving the structure and utilization of Marketing Analytics tools and services to meet client strategic deliverables (ie: customer profiling, dynamic algorithmic marketing).
  • Storytelling and communication of data findings.
  • Analyze a breadth of media, video, social (specifically organic and paid), mobile, web and database data to provide insight into the performance of clients’ omni-channel marketing programs
  • Knowledge of Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest analytics and dashboards
  • Develop overarching measurement strategies and reporting of key business metrics
  • Provide insights and develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and analysis
  • Maintain functional expertise in database marketing, integrated channel marketing (including online based channels such as websites, banners, email and search), analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements
  • Internal account team facing responsibilities representing all marketing analytics and emerging trends
  • Work closely with respective team members from various disciplines (media, creative, account management, research) within the agency and the client to optimize and coordinate campaign strategies
  • Definition of program key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as program measurement methodologies
  • Manage the tracking & reporting deliverables
  • Ensure consistent & relevant analytics designed to optimize & influence strategic direction
  • Develop and manage testing roadmap aligned to strategic direction and a deployment schedule for the program
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • May require overnight travel up to 5%

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

Years of Relevant Experience

  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience primarily focused on strategic planning and analysis

 

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Strong client relationship skills and experience managing multiple projects across internal teams
  • Dashboard visualization skills (i.e., Domo, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and story-telling skills
  • Detail oriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends, intellectually curious
  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to lead a team

  • Able to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data
  • Proven track record of driving analytical insights into tangible results
  • Demonstrable knowledge of analytics platforms, testing tools and other business intelligence tools
  • Video, Social and Web data experience
  • Experimental test design (A/B split, multivariate testing)
