Job Description

This position is a key role within the Duracell team. This role will be focussed on leading and coordinating the work of our 20 local country teams in order to deliver a Global view and ensuring our network is delivering outstanding campaigns and following agreed process/guidelines. This is mid-senior role reporting directly to the Business Director.  You will be responsible for driving the brands communication strategy and vision, plus supporting the management of the overall account across the network, which might include some travel. This mean building a strong relationship with our global clients based in Geneva, becoming their main point of contact – with support from both senior/junior team members

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Starcom Local Team ensuring knowledge flow from central to local teams and vice versa
  • Tracking and policing of local activation of global media guidelines and strategies,  to ensure consistency
  • Day to day management of all strategic projects, central support to the directors in the development and delivery of strategy and requests
  • Lead client communication, coordinating status, request responses and project management
  • Stewardship of Duracell Digital processes and KPIs
  • Lead and manage all responses to briefs, in collaboration with the Account Strategist and with support. In addition to collating relevant markets information
  • Driving innovation agenda across the network
  • Building a close relationship with external partners (Agencies and media Owners)
  • Supervise service delivery across all markets, ensuring SOW is being complied
  • Managing, mentoring and motivate the account manager and Executive, overseeing their work and driving their career progression

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with an outgoing, positive nature – a ‘people person’
  • A proactive, self-starter individual who takes the initiative and isn’t afraid to be persistent, to pick up the phone and manage your own projects from start to finish as well as be a team player on wider tasks.
  • Background in international media and network management with communications planning or client servicing experience is valued. An interest in working across international markets is though - consumer, culture and media practice beyond UK shores.
  • Someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions and see the bigger picture beyond the individual tasks.
  • Collaborative – able to foster productive working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Project management skills including organization, attention to detail, track record for delivering projects on time, management of multiple stakeholders
  • Foresight and initiative to troubleshoot and work around limitations to deliver on requirements
