Publicis Media is seeking a rising individual to take on our Graduate/Entry Level Biddable Strategy role located in our London offices.   You will be mentored and trained by our more senior members to give you exposure in the day-to-day agency business and client relationship management.  Graduates emerge with the skillset and knowledge in starting a successful career in the digital marketing area through a combination of on-the-job training, project assignments, and classroom training.

You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clients and markets, including some of the largest brands in the world such as P&G, Samsung, Avon and Cineworld. Once your training is complete, you’ll be responsible for producing and analysing insights from a variety of industry leading search and social tools.  You will be dealing with excel spreadsheets on a daily basis, analysing performance, compiling reports and spotting opportunities within our portfolio. The role does not involve a high amount of actual activation (it would only be on an ad-hoc basis) as all projects on the portfolio focus on strategy only.  However, you will be responsible for auditing and expanding our current search and social accounts.

Analytical and communication skills are important, as is a strong passion for digital media.

Key Responsibilities 

Core responsibilities of the role are:

  • Work alongside client team to help create and execute biddable campaign strategies
  • Assist in daily workflow for client projects
  • Shadow weekly/monthly client calls
  • Work with an array of search and social data tools to inform client projects
  • Provide in depth strategic analysis and recommendations to improve client online performance
  • Provide assistance as needed to account staff
  • Stay up-to-date on newest industry trends across Search and Social platforms
  • Proactively help find innovative ways to boost campaign performance
  • Liaising with providers and partners to resolve any issues as they arise 
  • Ensure all activity is booked and reconciled on time according to the financial process
  • Proactively contribute to team meetings, team initiatives and knowledge sharing
  • Be responsible for the creation of account audits including keyword expansion and adcopy creation

THE CANDIDATE

·       Understanding of or experience in activating paid social or paid search campaigns would be very beneficial, but not essential

·       Proactive approach, and not afraid to ask questions if something isn’t clear 

Our industry changes so quickly and we’re asked to work at pace most of the time, so flexibility in approach is necessary.  You’ll need to be curious and have an inquisitive mind, always looking at things from different perspectives and asking why if you don’t understand.

Requirements for the role are:

·       Excellent communication skills – grammatical and spoken

  • Numerate, strong analytical mind

·       Proficient computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Especially PowerPoint and Excel)

  • A proactive attitude to find and suggest solutions rather than report on problems
  • Able to develop & learn new processes
