Job Description

The Sr. Product Manager will direct and execute on a wide range of activities across the product lifecycle from inception to management in market. They will develop use cases and functional requirements, manage the operations enhancements backlog, and document associated workflow and operations of the product, with a focus on data processing and stability. The Sr. Product Manager assists cross-functional teams for platform execution and launch under the direction of the VP Product. The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders both within and external to the Product team.  He/she should have excellent relationship building and collaboration skills; strong communication, project and product management and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have very strong technical expertise and experience working with engineering. 
 

Qualifications

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

In this role, you will be expected to drive Publicis Spine's mission to grow our clients' businesses through the transformative application of data. Your key priorities will include but are not limited to:   

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, support and client teams to identify, define and document operational requirements, such as technical debt, stabilization & hardening opportunities and experience enhancements. 
  • Maintain backlog of operational issues, enhancements and opportunities, prioritizing most valuable work in collaboration with engineering, 
  • Articulate priority of backlog work to stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution of key issues 
  • Drive product development life cycle, in collaboration with engineering, by participating in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, etc. 
  • Define, implement and monitor processes that enable stakeholders to report operational issues, ensuring transparency into prioritization and resolution for stakeholders 
  • Define and measure KPIS for product operational excellence, such as up-time, breaking bugs and user satisfaction feedback. 
  • Stay on top of industry changes, through partnerships and self-research/learning that may have direct impact on product   

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To successfully accelerate and impact the business objectives in this role, you must be a seasoned leader and change agent who brings fresh perspectives with prior experience. Qualification requirements and experience include but are not limited to: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, advertising, or marketing.
  • Minimum 7 years’ work experience 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, Product Operations, QA or Product Management 
  • Knowledge experience working in digital marketing and/or advertising 
  • Experience in a few of the following technical areas 
  • Ad Servers (DCM, Sizmek), DMPs, DSP (DoubleClick DBM or The Trade Desk preferred) 
  • AWS, Azure or GCP 
  • Audience Data Billing 
  • Big Data Data Onboarding 
  • Platform Operations, Maintenance or QA 
  • Ability to query and manage data in a SQL or NoSQL environment, and on AWS 
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both in person and written 
  • Experience working within an agile framework and using tools such as Jira is a plus 
  • Experience participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, daily standups, etc 
  • Positive and strong team player with a good work ethic 
  • Ability to work independently or in a team 
  • Comfortable working in an environment where priorities may shift due to industry, product, or user needs. 
  • Thrives on brainstorming and building innovative solutions that consistently challenges the status quo

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:  

An ideal candidate for this role will also display additional qualifications and experience including but are not limited to:   

  • Well versed in agile methodologies with direct experience as a scrum master 
  • PMP or Scrum Master Certification 
  • Ability to create visual documentation to aid in requirements translation
