Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

The Performance Campaign Manager will work as part of the Diageo Connect Team, collaborating with other Publicis agencies (Leo Burnett & Herd) to deliver best in class campaigns for a number of brands. Core tasks in include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Be responsible for managing Social, Search and Programmatic campaigns towards client objectives
  • Execute new campaign builds, account optimization and tracking processes across different technologies.
  • Work closely with the planning team to develop best practice campaign recommendations for biddable channels
  • Report on campaign activity, leveraging research and industry knowledge to provide actionable, data-driven insights.
KEY OUTPUTS 
  • Achieving set client KPI’s or success metrics
  • Designing and implementing social media campaigns inline with client business goals
  • Mastery of biddable platforms – Adwords, DoubleClick Search, Facebook Power Editor, Sprinklr, etc
  • Insightful and accurate reporting output
  • Accurate delivery of campaign budgets in line with planned flighting requirements
  • Superior relationships with internal and external parties
  • Troubleshoot campaigns, provide actionable insights and recommendations

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

General:

  • Problem Solving & critical thinking
  • A love of data and attention to detail
  • Ability to organise and manage detailed work
  • Effective communication
  • Proactive approach to work and projects

Technical:

  • Hands on experience across at least 2 channels within:
  • Search (Adwords, Bing) as well as thorough understanding of bid management tools (e.g. DoubleClick Search, Kenshoo, Marin, etc)
  • Paid social (use of Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads Manager) as well as bid management tools (e.g. Brand Networks, Sprinklr, etc)
  • Programmatic (DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360 etc)
  • Topline understanding of Industry monitoring systems e.g. Hitwise
  • Computer skills e.g. advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint

BEHAVIOURS

  • Has the ability to develop strong relationships with the media, tech vendors and clients
  • Has the ability to work well within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the role
